Tukhmanuki Lernantsk

Tukhmanuki Lernantsk is a mountain pass sitting on the boundary between the Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions, on the saddle that connects the Dahnak and Urtsi mountain ridges. It rises to 1,795 meters and is built on Eocene-period rock formations, with a mountain-steppe landscape around it.
The pass carries the Yerevan–Jermuk highway, making it a working route through the ridge rather than a destination in itself.
The pass lies in Vayots Dzor region near the town of Areni, about 64 km southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
