Tsiranavor Church of Ashtarak
Спитакавор · Ծիրանավոր եկեղեցի
Tsiranavor Church of Ashtarak is a 13th-century church, only partly standing today, built at the edge of a gorge in the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn province.
The site is also recorded under the name Spitakavor, meaning white-colored church — whether this refers to the same structure or a related building on the same spot isn't clear from the record. Little else about it has been documented.
Ashtarak, in Aragatsotn province, lies about 18 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
