Tsoghasar

Цогасар · Ցողասար

Tsoghasar is the peak that names the Tsoghasar range in Shirak. It tops out at 2,083 meters. Tsoghamarg village sits about a kilometer to the northwest; Torosgyugh lies roughly the same distance south.

There's no trail signage or built infrastructure documented here. It's a landform, not a stop with facilities — the kind of place you pass on a map rather than plan a visit around.

Anyone wanting to climb it should ask locally in Tsoghamarg or Torosgyugh about the route and conditions. Nothing on difficulty or approach is recorded beyond the coordinates and elevation.

Tsoghasar sits in the Shirak region of northwestern Armenia, roughly 100 kilometers northwest of Yerevan as a straight line. Tsoghamarg is the closest named village.

At just over 2,000 meters, summer is the more forgiving season for reaching the summit on foot — exact trail and weather conditions aren't documented, so check locally before setting out.
