Tsolasar

Tsolasar is a mountain summit rising to 2,771 meters, part of the south-western branch of the Karkatar range in Vayots Dzor. It sits above the northern edge of Rind village.

There's little more on record about it beyond its position and height — it's a landmark for orientation in this stretch of the range rather than a site with a documented history.

Tsolasar lies in Vayots Dzor region, near Rind village, roughly 68 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies, close to Areni.

At this elevation, snow cover can linger into late spring, so conditions vary sharply by season.
