V. Zatikyan Park

V. Zatikyan Park carries the name of a person rather than a legend or a dynasty. Vahan Zatikyan served as the first mayor of Yerevan's Malatia-Sebastia community, and in 1999 the district named this park after him.

The park itself is modest in scope. It covers the stretch of land between Svachyan and Raffi streets, functioning as the kind of neighborhood green space every district needs rather than a destination in its own right.

For visitors, its interest lies less in size and more in what the naming records: a piece of local administrative history preserved in a public space, still used by residents of Malatia-Sebastia today.

The park sits within Yerevan's Malatia-Sebastia district, between Svachyan and Raffi streets — roughly 6 km west of Yerevan's center (straight-line).
