Vardenis

Vardenis is a mountain, not a monument, despite how it's filed here — the highest summit in the Vardenis range, sitting on the border between Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor marzes (regions). Its height is given as roughly 3,521 m.
It shares its name with the range it tops and with the lowland town of Vardenis nearby.
The peak lies in Gegharkunik marz (region), in the Martuni district, about 89 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
