Varks.am is a universal credit organization set up as a closed joint-stock company in Yerevan, founded in 2017. It offered consumer loans and let customers look up their nearest branch through its website.

By 2020 the company had entered liquidation. A liquidation commission was formed to manage outstanding accounts, setting payment deadlines and accepting both online and cash repayments from remaining clients.

An announcement dated April 2020 said clients whose loan payments became overdue between March 15 and March 31, 2020 would not have that overdue period reflected in their report with ACRA, Armenia's credit bureau — though this did not cancel the underlying obligation to repay. The same announcement noted that branches were open daily from 09:00 to 20:00, and asked customers to pay through online systems or payment terminals rather than in person, to cut down on crowding during the COVID-19 period.
