Victory Park

Tucked into the Kanaker-Zeytun district in the northern part of Yerevan, Victory Park is one of the district's main pockets of greenery — a place for a walk or a bit of quiet away from the surrounding residential streets.

Locally the park goes by an unofficial second name, 'Monument,' which is how many Yerevantsis refer to it rather than its formal title.

The park is in the Kanaker-Zeytun district in Yerevan's north; it's a short ride by taxi or public transport from the city centre.

As with most of Yerevan's parks, it's most pleasant in spring and early autumn, when the trees are in leaf and temperatures are milder.
