Voskepar

Voskepar is a mountain range in Armenia's Lori region, part of the Gugark mountain system's northeastern branch. It starts at the Gomshavar peak and runs 25 km, losing height gradually until it merges into the Kura river valley.
The rock here is volcanic, laid down in the Jurassic period. Along its length the range marks the watershed between two rivers, the Voskepar and the Koghb.
Slopes carry beech forest mixed with dry shrub cover.
The range sits in Lori region, about 104 km north-northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
