The Yeghishe Charents Memorial Museum occupies the Yerevan apartment where poet Yeghishe Charents lived from 1935 to 1937, at Mesrop Mashtots Avenue 17. Charents, born in 1897, died in 1937 — the same year he left this address.

The museum opened in 1964, nearly three decades after his death. It now serves as a research center studying his life along with his literary, cultural, and social-political work.

The museum is in Yerevan, on Mesrop Mashtots Avenue.
