Yeranos range

Yeranos range is a fold-block ridge in the northern part of Armenia's Ararat region, its slopes cut and steep rather than gradual. The eastern section climbs to roughly 1,900 meters, the highest point along the whole range.

The ridge runs immediately south of the Azat river valley. Its western half holds the Yeranos peak itself, which gives the range its name.

The range lies in Ararat region near the town of Garni, about 27 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
