Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park

Парк 2800-летия Еревана · Երևանի 2800-ամյակին նվիրված այգի

Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park opened on 10 May 2019, a gift from philanthropists Mikayel and Karen Vardanyan timed to the city's 2800th anniversary. Locals still call it the Vardanyans' park. It sits in Kentron (Yerevan's central district), boxed in by Italy, Beirut, Movses Khorenatsi and Grigor Lusavorich streets.

The Yerevan Municipality building adjoins the park. The French and Italian embassies in Armenia are close by, too. Monuments to Stepan Shahumyan and Alexander Myasnikyan also stand nearby, though little else about them is documented here.

Beyond its location and the story of its founding, details on the park itself — its size, planting, seating — aren't recorded. Treat it as a small landscaped square worth a look if you're already passing the municipality building or the embassies, and check locally for anything more specific.

The park is in Yerevan's Kentron district, bordered by Italy, Beirut, Movses Khorenatsi and Grigor Lusavorich streets, next to the Yerevan Municipality building.
