Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory

Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory is a state institution for higher music education, running bachelor's, master's and postgraduate (aspirantura) programs. Students can specialize in composition, instrumental performance, vocal art, conducting, or musicology — the theory and history of music — alongside preparatory and elective coursework.
The conservatory also runs a research program on Armenian folk musical creation and publishes two periodicals, Musical Armenia and Musician, along with an annual collection of teaching-methods articles by its faculty.
The conservatory is in Yerevan, Yerevan region, about 5 km east-northeast of the city center (straight-line distance).
