Yerevan State Medical University

Yerevan State Medical University, formally named for the medieval physician Mkhitar Heratsi, is a medical school in Yerevan. Its own site lists faculties for students at both undergraduate and doctoral levels, along with a college and a dedicated secondary school ("Heratsi" school).

The university runs three affiliated teaching hospitals — Heratsi, Muratsan, and Mikayelyan university hospitals — alongside a simulation center, a dental education and training center, a quality-assurance office, and a museum documenting its own history. It also lists Erasmus+ exchanges and other international academic partnerships among its activities.

The university sits in Yerevan, roughly 2 km north-northeast of the city center in a straight line.
