Yerevan Zoological Park is home to more than 160 animal species, kept on Myasnikyan Street in Yerevan. A significant share of them appear on the IUCN Red List (international inventory of threatened species) and in Armenia's Red Book of animals.
The zoo describes itself as working toward becoming a regional center for breeding endangered species outside their natural habitat and returning them to the wild, while raising ecological awareness among visitors.
The park opens daily from 10:00 to 19:00.
The zoo sits within Yerevan itself, on Myasnikyan Street.
