Zhest

Zhest runs psychodiagnostic testing, psychotherapy, child psychotherapy, speech therapy (logopedics), parenting counseling, and legal-psychology consultations from its Yerevan office, directed by Mariam Mehrabyan.

Alongside client services, the center trains practitioners. Courses include a 6-month program and a 3-month speech-therapy course, plus schools for child psychologists, family psychologists, and legal psychologists. A general-audience course, 'psychology for everyone,' runs alongside a school aimed at teenagers considering the field.

The diagnostic toolkit draws on established instruments — the Beck depression inventory, the Yale-Brown obsessive-compulsive scale, Lichko's character accentuation test — plus child-specific measures like the Rene Gilles interpersonal relations test and a children's IQ assessment.
