Agravaqar

Agravaqar is a 3,025-meter summit on Aragats named in Armenian oral tradition: it appears in "Sasna Tsrer" (Daredevils of Sassoun), an epic cycle, in its final branch, "Poqr Mher" (Little Mher).
The rock itself is oligocene-miocene volcanic material, and cold-water springs run down from its slopes. The surrounding landscape is mountain meadow.
The peak sits in Aragatsotn region, on Aragats' southwestern slope, about 8 km northeast of Metsadzor village, roughly 44 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
