Armenian Association of Geriatrics and Gerontology

The Armenian Association of Geriatrics and Gerontology runs a training program in geriatrics for primary healthcare doctors, taught by Artur Torosyan and Tigran Chilingaryan. According to the association's own site, this produced Armenia's first team of doctor-geriatricians trained to international standards.

The group's website also states it opened a center called "Mets Masrik" in the Gegharkunik region, and that it represented Armenia at an international forum on healthy longevity in Moscow. It further reports a pilot of a new model of multifunctional social services in the Vardenis community, also in Gegharkunik, with a stated start date of July 1, 2026.
