Axjka Qar

Axjka Qar — the name translates roughly as "girl's rock" — is a rock formation on the right bank of the Aghnja river in Tavush region, at 945 m elevation, 3.5 km southwest of Aygedzor village. It's one of the fixed points locals use to describe this stretch of the valley, though little else about it is written down.

No marked trail or facilities are recorded here. If you're curious enough to seek it out, Aygedzor is the reference point to start from, and local knowledge will fill in what the map can't.

Axjka Qar sits in Tavush region, on the right bank of the Aghnja river near Aygedzor village, roughly 110 km northeast of Yerevan as a straight line.
