Saint Hripsime Church, Aygedzor

Saint Hripsime Church stands in half-ruined condition in the center of Aygedzor village, Tavush region. It was built in the 5th-6th century, making it one of the older standing structures in this part of Tavush, though only ruins remain today.

The church sits on a raised plateau on the right bank of the Akhanja river. It's listed among Aygedzor's registered monuments of history and culture.

The church is in Tavush region, in the center of Aygedzor village, roughly 113 km northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
