East Sevan Range
Восточно-Севанский хребет · Արևելյան Սևանի լեռներ
East Sevan Range runs along the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, southeast of Lake Sevan and the Masrik plain, and east of the Böyük Alagöl and Kichik Alagöl lakes. The range stretches roughly 40-45 km and carries the vegetation typical of mountain steppe rather than forest or alpine meadow.
The volcano Porak sits on the range. Its highest point, Tsarasar, reaches 3,441 m.
The range lies in Gegharkunik marz, east of Lake Sevan, about 121 km east of Yerevan in a straight line.
