Erakh

Ерах · Երախ

Erakh is a peak in Armenia's Ararat region, its steep, clay-covered slopes rising along the southwestern foothills of the Gegham mountain range, northwest of the town of Vedi.

There's no trail network or summit marker recorded here. The peak's defining trait is simply its ground cover: clay soils blanket the surface across the slopes, matching the steep grade underfoot. That's the whole of what's documented about Erakh — a compact, sharply pitched rise on the range's edge rather than a developed hiking destination.

Erakh sits in Ararat region, northwest of the town of Vedi, roughly 29 km south-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
