Erakhi Mountains
горы Ераха · Երախի լեռներ
The Erakhi Mountains form a ridge running 16 km through Armenia's Ararat region, extending as a southwestern branch of the Gegham range. Their highest point is Alsar, reaching 1,853 m.
Beyond the ridge's length and its highest summit, little else is documented about the range.
The ridge sits in Ararat region, roughly 29 km south-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
Ridge terrain at this elevation is best approached in the warmer months, when snow is less likely to complicate travel on the higher ground.
