Football Academy Pool

Football Academy Pool is one part of a training complex that opened on September 1, 2010, in Yerevan's Avan district — the academy's own site calls the whole compound a "technical center-academy," its term for a training complex built for both practice and matches. The academy's own account of that day names a ribbon-cutting attended by then-president Serzh Sargsyan, UEFA president Michel Platini, and Armenian Football Federation president Ruben Hayrapetyan. The stated goal was straightforward: give Armenian football a place to grow, open to any child or young person who wants to play.

The pool sits alongside five football fields, four tennis courts, a sports hall, and a hotel building. It functions as one training and recreation facility among several, not as a standalone attraction.

The complex is in Yerevan's Avan district, about 6 km northeast of central Yerevan in a straight line.
