Geghard Foundation

Geghard Foundation is a research and analysis organization based in Yerevan, founded in 2023 and directed by Robert Ghazaryan. Its full Armenian name translates as the Geghard Scientific-Analytical Foundation.

The foundation publishes articles, books, and press materials on Armenian history, with recurring sections tracking what it labels Azerbaijani propaganda, fabrications, and vandalism against Armenian heritage. It also runs a strand of work on Armenian settlements in the eastern South Caucasus and in Nakhichevan.

It organizes academic events, including an international congress on Armenian-Georgian historical and cultural ties, planned for September 2-4, 2026. The office keeps regular weekday hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00.

The foundation is in Yerevan, roughly 2 km north of the city center in straight-line distance.
