Hayots Tseghaspanutyan Tangaranan -Institut
Музей-институт Геноцида армян · Հայոց Ցեղասպանության Թանգարանան -Ինստիտուտ
The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute in Yerevan brings together three functions in one place: a museum with a permanent exhibition on the Armenian Genocide, a research institute that studies it, and a memorial complex built around the subject, including a park of remembrance and a designated day of remembrance marked with programming each year.
The institute publishes its own periodicals and books, drawing on a library and its own collections. Temporary exhibitions rotate through the museum, an online exhibition runs alongside them, and some exhibitions travel to other venues. Part of the site catalogs recognition of the genocide by governments and organizations, and the museum also produces memorial postcards.
The site sits in Yerevan itself, in Yerevan region, about 2 km west-northwest of the city center in a straight line.
