Karmravor Church

Karmravor Church has stood in Ashtarak since the 7th century, one of the rare buildings from that period still in use. It's also known as the Church of the Holy Mother of God, and was built by the priests Grigor and Manas.
The church is on Ashtarak's official list of historical and cultural monuments, a formal recognition of its age and place in the town's record.
Karmravor Church stands in the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn province, about 18 km northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
