Khor Virap aligned with Little Ararat

This is a viewpoint, not a monument — the point where the silhouette of Khor Virap sits in line with Little Ararat's peak. The pairing is the whole attraction: a monastery on a small hill and a mountain summit reading as one composition from this spot.

There's little else to say about it beyond the alignment itself. No structure marks the spot; it's a position, not a place with its own walls or gate.

In Ararat province, roughly 33 km south of Yerevan in a straight line.

Clear days give the sharpest line between the hill and the peak; haze or cloud on Little Ararat can erase the effect entirely.
