Koghut

Koghut is a mountain peak sitting right on the line between Aragatsotn and Kotayk regions, in the southeastern part of the Aragats massif. It rises to 1,620 meters and lies about 7 km southeast of the village of Zorava.

There's not much more on record about it beyond its location and height — no marked trail, no facilities, no history attached to the name.

Koghut sits in Aragatsotn region, near the town of Ashtarak, roughly 22 km north-northwest of Yerevan as the crow flies. It's positioned on the southeastern flank of the Aragats massif, on the border with Kotayk region.

At 1,620 meters, expect snow cover in winter and better footing for any approach in the drier summer and early autumn months.
