Lastiver
Ластивер · Լաստիվեր
Lastiver sits among the forested ridges of northeastern Armenia's Tavush region, where the landscape folds into a canyon cut through by rock and tree cover. It's the kind of place valued less for any single monument and more for the setting itself — a pocket of untouched terrain in one of Armenia's greenest provinces.
Beyond its name and general location, little else about the site is formally documented here, so it's best approached as an open natural landmark rather than a managed attraction with fixed facilities or hours.
Lastiver lies in Tavush region, in Armenia's forested northeast; reaching it means travelling into the hill country of Tavush and approaching by road toward the site's coordinates, as no fixed access point or nearby town is specified.
As a forested canyon site, it's most comfortably visited in the warmer months, when paths through the terrain are less likely to be affected by snow or mud.
