Lejan

Леджан · Լեջան լեռնազանգված

Lejan is a mountain massif in the Virahayk range of Lori region, reaching 2,526 meters. It stands about 9 km northwest of the village of Akori, and its slopes show a radial dissection — ridges and gullies fanning out from the summit rather than running in one direction. The Kamatur mountains branch off to the southeast.

The massif is known locally as a mountaineering destination, one of the ranges climbers head for in this part of Lori.

Lejan sits in Lori region, near Odzun and the village of Akori, ~102 km north of Yerevan (straight-line).
