Matosavank

Матосаванк · Մաթոսավանք

Matosavank is a small 13th-century Armenian monastery, now in ruins, standing in a forested stretch of Dilijan National Park. It shares the area with the monastery of Jukhtak Vank and a nearby cemetery.

Reaching it isn't straightforward — trail markers in the park are often misleading, and the ruined church can be genuinely hard to find.

Matosavank sits in Tavush province, about 3 km northwest of Dilijan town, inside Dilijan National Park. From Yerevan, it's roughly 68 km north-northeast in a straight line.
