Mets Makaghots

Mets Makaghots is a mountain in the Zangezur range, in Syunik region, rising to 2,289 meters. It sits near the headwaters of the Brnakot river, about 4.5 km south of the village of Mutsk.

There's little written about it beyond its position and height — it's a landmark for orientation in this stretch of the Zangezur system rather than a site with its own recorded history.

The peak lies in Syunik region, near the town of Sisian, roughly 140 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
