Pelelik

Пелелик · Պելելիկ

Pelelik is a lake in Armenia's Syunik region, set on the northern slope of Glkhatun mountain. It sits at 2,385 meters above sea level and covers about 0.5 hectares.

That's the whole of what's recorded about it — a small, high-altitude body of water rather than a destination with facilities or a name-brand view.

Pelelik lies in Syunik region, near the town of Sisian, roughly 138 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.

At 2,385 m, expect the lake and its surroundings to be snow-affected outside the warmer months; plan for a mountain climate rather than a lowland one.
