Monument of Argishti I
Памятник царю Аргишти · Արգիշտի արքայի արձան
This statue honors Argishti I, the Urartian king credited with founding Erebuni. It stands in the square facing the Erebuni Museum, in Yerevan's Erebuni district, and was installed in 2002.
There's no elaborate site to tour here — it's a single civic monument, worth a stop if you're already at the museum next door.
The monument sits in Yerevan's Erebuni district, about 4 km south-southeast of the city center (straight-line), in the square across from the Erebuni Museum.
