Sangar
Сахманакар · Սահմանաքար
Sangar is a mountain in the Vayk range, rising to 2,916 meters right on the boundary between Armenia's Vayots Dzor province and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. It sits about 4.5 km southeast of the village of Sers.
There's little written about Sangar beyond its location and height — no trail markers or facilities noted, just a border peak in a range that separates the two territories.
Sangar lies in Vayots Dzor province, roughly 112 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line, near the village of Sers.
As a peak near 2,900 m, snow cover and weather shifts through the seasons should factor into any plans to approach it.
