Shaki Waterfall
водопад Шаки · Շաքիի ջրվեժ
Shaki Waterfall drops 18 m on the Shaki River, in the Vorotan gorge, about 1 km below the village of Shaki and 3 km northwest of Sisian. If you're already in Sisian, that's a short detour rather than a day's undertaking.
The measurement isn't settled.
English and Russian descriptions give the height as 18 m; Armenian ones say 15 to 17 m. You'll also see the fall's name written Shake. Neither difference changes what you see, but it's useful to know if you're comparing one description against another.
Hours, access and any entry fee are best checked locally, in Sisian or in Shaki village.
The waterfall is in Syunik Province. Sisian is the nearest town, with the falls 3 km northwest of it and 1 km below the village of Shaki. From the capital, the site is ~144 km east-southeast of Yerevan (straight-line).
