Shamprasar

Shamprasar rises to 3,259 meters on the line dividing Armenia's Kotayk and Gegharkunik regions, forming part of the central summit ridge of the Geghama mountains. Its position on that ridge, rather than any single feature, is what defines it on the map.

The peak sits 12 km west of Tsaghkashen village, the nearest named settlement to it.

Shamprasar is in Kotayk region, on its border with Gegharkunik, roughly 37 km east-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
