Shikasar
Шикасар · Շիկասար
Shikasar is a mountain summit in the Sevan range, part of the highlands that frame Lake Sevan in Gegharkunik region. It rises to 2,430 meters, about 2 km northwest of the village of Artanish.
There's little written about it beyond its location and height — no trail markers, no summit legend, just a point on the ridge line above the lake basin.
Shikasar sits in Gegharkunik region, roughly 80 km east-northeast of Yerevan (straight-line), just northwest of Artanish village.
Snow cover at this elevation likely lingers into late spring, so summer and early autumn are the more reliable windows for reaching the summit.
