Tezhqar, Ararat, Armenia

Tezhqar

Тежкар · Թեժքար

Tezhqar is a 1,735-meter summit in the Ararat region that works more as a landmark than a destination. It rises on the right bank of the Aratso River, right next to Tigranashen village. Paruyr Sevak village sits about 1.5 kilometers to the southwest.

No trail is marked here. No visitor site, no listed viewpoint — just a named high point on the map. If you're passing between Tigranashen and Paruyr Sevak, Tezhqar is the ridge you'll notice off to one side. That's the extent of what's known about it.

Tezhqar sits in Ararat region, beside Tigranashen village and about 1.5 kilometers northeast of Paruyr Sevak. In straight-line terms it's roughly 58 kilometers southeast of Yerevan.
