Trasar

Trasar rises to 3,594 m on the border between Armenia's Syunik region and the Lachin district of Azerbaijan, within the Tskhuk mountain range of the Syunik highland. It's the highest summit in that range.

The ascent is rated 1A, the easiest grade on the standard difficulty scale, and climbers maintain a cairn at the top. A named pass, the Trasar pass, sits nearby, along with Karadag, another peak of similar height.

Trasar sits in Syunik region, about 16 km northeast of the village of Sarnakunk, on the border with Azerbaijan's Lachin district. From Yerevan, it lies roughly 142 km east-southeast in a straight line.
