Ughtasar
Ухтусар · Ուղտուսար
Ughtasar rises to 3,170 meters on the western flank of the Gegham mountain range, within the Ughtupar massif. It's a summit rather than a settlement — no village sits on it, and the surrounding area takes its name from the massif itself.
The peak has appeared under several older names in regional records, including Davaboynu and Devebonyu, though no single name has stuck in common use.
Ughtasar sits in Ararat region, roughly 41 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line. The village of Urtsadzor lies about 22 km to the southwest of the peak.
