Vordzaqar

Vordzaqar rises to 1,794 meters within the Meghri mountain system in Syunik region, about 3 km south of the village of Nerqin Hand. It sits on the right side of the Tsav river, and its slopes are covered in forest.

There's little more on record about the peak beyond its position and elevation — it registers mainly as a fixed point on the map of this stretch of the Meghri range.

Vordzaqar lies in Syunik region, roughly 215 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line, just south of Nerqin Hand village.

Forested slopes mean conditions shift with the season — expect cover and shade in summer, harder footing in winter.
