Voskeni wines

Voskeni wines is a winery near Arak's, in Armavir region. The company itself describes its base as Sardarapat, in the Ararat valley. It sells red, rosé and white wines, including a label called Volcani, and runs wine tours, a home-restaurant and a terrace at the site. Gift cards and hosted events are also part of the business.

The winery traces its own story to Smbat Matevossian. He arrived from the United States in the 1920s hoping to build a wine business here. Bolshevik authorities seized his property and, later, his life. Decades passed. According to the family's account, his descendants left Russia and returned to Armenia roughly a century later, bought back the vineyard land, and resumed winemaking under the Voskeni name.

Susanna Davoyan directs the business today. It takes credit cards, debit cards and contactless payment, and offers delivery and curbside pickup. The site lists wheelchair access at the parking area, entrance, restroom and seating.
