Zherasar

Жерсар · Ժեռսար

Zherasar is a mountain peak in the Vardenis range, part of Gegharkunik region in eastern Armenia. It stands 2,525 meters high on the left bank of the Martuni river, about 4 km southeast of the village of Geghahovit.

The peak has no built structures or marked routes noted in current records — it's a landform, not a site with facilities. What's documented is its position: inside the Vardenis mountains, tied geographically to the Martuni river drainage rather than to any town center.

Zherasar sits in Gegharkunik region, near Martuni town, about 71 km east of Yerevan in a straight line. The peak lies roughly 4 km southeast of Geghahovit village, on the left bank of the Martuni river.
