Zohasar
Зохасар · Զոհասար
Zohasar is an extinct volcano on the northern slope of Aragats in Shirak region, reaching an elevation of 3,063 meters. Older references also list it under the names Ziarat, Ziareth, and Harrin.
The cone is built from antropogen (Quaternary-period) volcanic slag, and its slopes drop off steeply. Loose rock-debris accumulations and moraines cover much of the surface, and the ground above sits in a mountain-meadow landscape.
Zohasar lies about 2 km northwest of the Mantash reservoir.
