Aramazd
Арамазд · Արամազդ
Aramazd is the highest point of the Bargushat range, reaching 3,399 meters in Syunik region. The mountain is composed of volcanic rock, and its slopes drop away steeply from the summit.
Mountain-meadow vegetation covers those slopes. Near the top, that cover gives way to bare rock exposures and scree, patches of loose stone showing through where the plant cover stops.
Aramazd rises in Syunik region near the village of Tatev, roughly 172 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
