Gandzak
Гандзак · Գանձակ
Gandzak rises to roughly 2,376 m on the northwestern flank of the Vayk mountains, part of the ridge system that defines much of Vayots Dzor's high country. It sits about 2.5 km southwest of Mozrov village.
Like most of the summits in this part of the range, Gandzak is a landscape feature rather than a developed site — there are no facilities or marked trails noted here, just open highland terrain typical of the Vayk range.
The peak is reached from Mozrov village in Vayots Dzor, from which it lies about 2.5 km to the southwest; expect unpaved mountain tracks typical of the area rather than a maintained road.
At over 2,300 m, Gandzak holds snow well into spring; late spring through early autumn is the practical window for reaching it.
