The Intellectual Property Agency is Armenia's state body for industrial property and copyright matters. According to its own site, it handles trademarks, inventions, industrial designs, and geographical indications (product-origin place names) under industrial property, plus copyright and related rights covering literary, visual and other creative works, including performers' rights.
The agency runs an online filing system for applications in these categories, keeps a state register, publishes an official gazette, and has an appeals board for contested registrations. It is based at 5/1 Mkrtchyan Street, Yerevan.
