Lanjakunk
Ланджакунк · Լանջակունք
Lanjakunk is a spring in Armenia's Syunik region, set in the Bargushat mountains about 1.5 km northeast of the village of Verin Geghavank. It's the source of the Sevashert stream, which begins here and runs down from the spring.
There's little else recorded about the site beyond its location and its role as a stream source — no structure, no legend, just water coming up out of the mountains.
Lanjakunk lies in Syunik marz, near the Tatev area, roughly 178 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line. It sits about 1.5 km northeast of the village of Verin Geghavank, in the Bargushat mountains.
As a mountain spring, flow is likely strongest with snowmelt in spring and early summer.
